We’re based at the University of St Andrews at the Handa Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence (CSTPV), and our network is international.
Run by and for the PhD and ECR community, NextGen is supported by the School of International Relations and CSTPV.
We’re a multi-disciplinary group that takes a broad approach to defining terrorism and political violence. The network encompasses historians, political scientists, psychologists, sociologists, and anthropologists working in an array of geographical contexts, in different theoretical and methodological traditions.
